SUBJECT: Being mom and dad
I have a 5 year old son who has a great relationship with his father. We live together as a family. His dad just went to jail to do some time for a driving charge. He will be gone for a few months. We have prepared our son for the day he would go because it is only fair to him.Our son understands to a certain degree but you know that a 5 yr old really has no concept of time.I feel so helpless and weak when he asks me"when is daddy coming home"or"I miss daddy".I know I have to be the strong one and keep him together, but how can I make things a "little" more easier and comforting for him?

I appreciate any advice you can give me....
