 | I will confess to having no chldren. I have been a teacher of pre-school and Sunday school, a nanny, an aunt, and a friend to countless children. Children like me and a I like them. All of that being said, I have to ask, what legacy will we, as a nation, leave for our children if we hide. Scared? Absolutely. Parents have the hardest and most inportant job in the world. And ALL if use teach through our actions. So, we must embrace Halloween as an opportunity for nomalcy! Almost a national raspberry at those who would dare to take away our traditions! Cautious? Oh you had better believe it, but weren't we supposed to be taht way before? Teachour children that we cannot be deterred! |
