SUBJECT: Answering children's questions when you can't answer them for yourself
I had a 6 year old little girl the other day tell me that her mom told her that she would be safe because God is watching over her. I thought that was nice etc...except that she finished it with "Why wasn't God watching over those people one the planes? What if I do something bad that those people did so God won't protect me anymore?" I didn't know what to say or even if it was my place to say anything. How do you answer a question to calm the fears of children if you can't even answer it for yourself?
