Dear friends and family,
I feel it is now our responsibility to try to stop irrational hatred and violence from spreading. We will be trying here to help educators and students to spread compassion and tolerance. One step is letting everyone we know about this letter.
We just received this beautiful letter from Jordan, where Robert and I have worked, and where I trained all the staff 6 years ago. I am asking that you forward it to your friends-- copy it for schools--and newspapers, so we know
that there is compassion for our situation-- in all countries, from all people-- and so wonderfully from these young students in Jordan who will become leaders in their nation in many different fields.
Please forward this letter to those you know - and ask them to spread it - so that we can be reassured that while there is hatred, it is only from a few, and there is hope for the future.

Dear Friends:
So sorry to hear about the terrible sinister events happened in New York and Washington DC. The whole people of Jordan are so sorry for such an action and would like to take this time to say that our thoughts and prayers are going out to the victims and their families.
Please accept my deep condolences to you, your beloved ones, and to the whole people of America.
