SUBJECT: Discussing World Violence with Older Children
As you've probably already seen, there have been terrorist attacks in New York (both towers of the World Trade Center) and in Washington, D.C. (the Pentagon).

Your news is probably on. You're very likely staring at it in disbelief...as are your children.

And your school-aged kids, your pre-teens, your teens may well want to talk about what's going on. What's the best way to discuss this type of violence with older children?
